As it is, though, people are right when they say there is butter that is scratchier than Malabrigo, and it's wonderful to knit with. I lurve it. Is that the dark horse synthetic stuff? (Sadly, our favorite boomkin has animal-fiber sensitivities, or I would have gone with this cashmere/silk stuff I have stashed! But I'm so, so happy that I found a synthetic that is a joy to work with. I almost wouldn't know it wasn't wool if I hadn't read the label!)
